The Department of General Surgery – started in 2004 is now a fully developed unit of this institution.
Services offered:
24 hours General Surgery emergency care
Outpatient Services:
Regular Outpatient Department (OPD) providing basic and advanced General Surgery tertiary care treatment.
OPD Timings-
7.30 AM to 12 noon
(Monday to Saturday).
7:30 AM to 10:30 AM ( Sunday)
Patients are thoroughly examined and proper advice is given.
Those patients who need admissions are admitted and necessary treatment is given.
Dressings, minor ot procedures and follow up of patients are provided
OPD patients are provided medicines free of charge.
Inpatient services:
Bed capacity to treat 150 patients with separate male and female wards.
